Damos por supuesto que los informativos de las privadas son bastante flojos porque la mayoría de las cadenas no se quieren gastar mucho dinero en ellos. Damos por supuesto que los de TVE1 son los mejores y, por eso, han recibido premios internacionales. Pues aún así la información que dan es muy poco relevante.

Hacen periodismo de declaraciones, no de hechos. Es más fácil y barato ponerle una cámara y un micrófono delante a un político para que largue, que hacer un reportaje sobre un problema. Los políticos hacen más declaraciones que hechos. Si la televisión dejase de recoger declaraciones tendría mucho más tiempo para informar.

Entienden que ser pluralistas es apoyar el bipartidismo. De la mayor parte de los temas sólo dan las opiniones del PSOE o Gobierno y del PP, conclusión: sólo ellos cuentan. El sistema de cuotas hace que cada vez que habla el Gobierno tengan que dedicar el mismo tiempo al PP. Y nosotros a tragar mierda. Poner el micrófono y la cámara no es informar. Informar requiere valorar la información, por medio de expertos, y contextualizarla. Como no lo hacen, nos llenan los informativos de tonterías.

Es cierto que los tiempos para la información son pequeños en los telediarios, andan alrededor del minuto, pero siempre meten pequeños reportajes. Ayer pusieron tres: uno sobre epitafios, otro sobre música pop y otro sobre Mourinho. Como se ve, cuando tienen tiempo lo dedican a trivialidades. ¿Por qué no hacen uno sobre el FMI o sobre los mercados financieros? Ésto sería servicio público, porque hay mucha gente que sólo se informa por los telediarios.
